Marsalis Beckford a powerful forward will be a good acquisition for Buffalo City FC. Beckford signed for Buffalo City FC on May 14th, 2009. The club is hopefully that Beckford will be able to feature in the league within the next 2 weeks pending International Clearance.

As a Freshman in 2004: Beckford appeared in 15 games making two starts. He finished the season ranked third on the team in scoring (five points) and recorded two goals and one assist. Beckford made collegiate debut at UNH the 5th of September and scored his first collegiate goal against Harvard on the 12th of October.

As a Sophomore in 2005: Beckfrod was voted BRINE Offensive Player of the Week for October 18th and Holiday Inn Express Crusader of the Week October 17th. He totaled four goals and two assists in Patriot League play, to lead the conference in points (10) and tie for the league lead in goals.

Marsalis finished the season with 15 total points on six goals and three assists, to rank fourth in the Patriot League in goals, fifth in points and 12th in assists. He appeared in 16 games, making 10 starts and led the team in game-winning goals (two). Beckford also finished second on the team in both points and goals and third on the team in assists.

As a Junior in 2006: Beckford saw action in 16 games with six starts and scored two goals and had two assists for six points. His goals came in the victories over New Hampshire and St. Bonaventure. He finished the season ranked sixth on the team in points.

2008: Beckford was selected for the Patriot League All Tournament Team.
