(Buffalo, NY) - Buffalo City FC is disappointed to announce that their last home game against Charm City FC has been postponed due to problems beyond the clubs control. We would like to apologize to all our fans and hope that this will not cause any inconveniences. The game has been postponed due to the Maryland club folding.
Buffalo City FC would like to stress that all parties including Patrick Crawford from Charm City FC worked hard together to be able to still play the game but sadly the game has been forfeited by the Maryland club. Buffalo are now awarded 3 points including a 3-0 score. The forfeit has caused a big problem for the club financially as well as ended the clubs
Share said "I can not comment too much at this stage but we are very disappointed with the league as we feel we have had no support. Clubs needed to be protected. The club has decided to take legal action against the league".
Share added " Everyone losses out now and we really feel robbed. For something like this to happen in a National league is a unheard of in Europe. It shows why the game is so behind in America".
The club is looking to join the new Pro Development Soccer League next year. More information will be announced as soon as it is available.
