2008: Taylor was on the roster of former NPSL side Queen City Football Club.

During the four years of his playing career at Newberry, Taylor amassed 17 goals and 13 assists, which ranks him fifth all-time with 47 career points. Taylor was a starter all four years at Newberry and was named to the preseason all-South Atlantic Conference second team in 2006.

A native of Sumter, S.C., Taylor graduated from Sumter HS, where he played varsity soccer all four years. His high school playing career was beyond successful as he finished as South Carolina’s all time leading scorer with 110 goals. Taylor was also named an all-region player all four years and an all state player his senior year.
