Casey Derkacz, a defender, will be transferring to SUNY Buffalo after a successful spell at Penn State. Derkacz was the leader from former NPSL side Queen City Football Club's defense during their two year existence, including their run to the championship game in 2007. A Hamburg High School graduate, Derkacz was twice an All Western New York selection and captained the Bulldogs his senior season leading the squad in goals and assists. Derkacz is also a former American youth International.
