 (Buffalo, NY) - Buffalo City Football Club is pleased to announce that Alan Kershaw has officially joined the club as Buffalo's International Development Coach and Adviser. Kershaw a native of the UK, has had a productive career as a player with Preston North End, Dundee United, Sydney City and IFK Malmo.
Kershaw has a vast experience as a coach, he has coached in England, Australia and his most recent position as a Head Coach was with Norwegian club MK Mandal.
“I’m looking forward to working with Alan and know he will be a valued member of the club,” Buffalo head coach Mike Share said. “Alan has been working with the club for the last couple of months and I am very pleased to have him officially onboard now. Alan will be scouting for players in Europe as well as looking to place our players in Europe, his experience as a coach will be very important to Buffalo's development.”
Share also added "With the club being restructured and having Coaches and Advisers like Ritchie Semple and Alan Kershaw, I know we are closer to achieving our goals. We are all working hard and hopefully we can make a few important announcements in the next couple of weeks as the club is working on some fantastic projects.
Through Buffalo City FC Alan Kershaw is committed to developing and helping young players secure professional contracts at top teams in Europe.
