(Buffalo, NY)--Buffalo City Football Club is pleased to announce that Ritchie Semple has joined as the club’s European scout. Semple a native of the UK, is currently working for Myerscough College in Liverpool as the Coordinator, Lecturer and Coach of Football Studies.

Semple has a vast experience at youth, collegiate and professional club level having formerly been employed at Manchester United and Chelsea soccer schools (The International Academy). Semple is also currently the coach of English professional club Chester City U15’s and is also the college tutor to Chester City’s Youth Team.

Semple a former semi-professional player was a prolific goal scorer whilst playing for Bangor City, Conwy United and Prestatyn Town.

“I’m looking forward to working with Ritchie and know he will be a valued member of the club,” Buffalo head coach Mike Share said. “Ritchie will be scouting for players in Europe as well as looking to place our players in Europe, his expierence as a coach will be very important to Buffalo's development.”

Share also noted that there are already arrangements for Buffalo's players to be placed at European clubs and for several players from Liverpool to come over to Buffalo. “Share said. “Ritchie will play a huge part in helping our players secure deals in Europe.”

“I am very excited to be involved with Buffalo City FC.” Ritchie Semple said.“I am fully committed to share the knowledge I learnt, the experiences I have lived, the passion that I have gained and the potential that I see, I am looking forward developing the players technically, tactically and psychologically as well as helping to further their careers”.
