Buffalo City FC's Official Training Week

May 8th, 2009

(Buffalo, NY)--- In preparation for Buffalo City FC's 2009 NPSL inaugural season, the club held their Official Training Day on May 1st.

Now with the first full week coming to a end we look what is in store for the team before their upcoming 2009 NPSL away game next weekend.

On May 1st the team was still missing players who join up with the squad over the next couple of days next week.

Buffalo City FC's new Brazilian duo Igor Popovich and Alexander Padoveze flew in on the morning of May 1st. Both players impressed Buffalo's Player/Head Coach Mike Share and look to play a key part in the 2009 NPSL season.

The players were pushed throughout the session specifically designed by Head Coach Mike Share to see  players skills and fitness, as well as to see what each player was capable of bringing to Buffalo City FC.

"I was very happy with the effort the players put in this week and i look forward to the players continuing pushing themselves to their limits throughout this season" Said Head Coach Mike Share. "Obviously it has been very hard for the players as they are not used to this intensity of training, but i feel most players have adapted well"

Share went on to say "We take each training session and game at a time but if the players work as hard as they did today then we will not be far off this season and i am sure this will show on May 10th when we play against Canadian team ST Catharines Roma Wolves" said Share.

On Sunday 10th of May the team will hold an open training day at 2pm which all suporters are welcome to Attend, following the training session the team will play CSL team ST Catharines Roma Wolves. The game will kick off at 3pm.
